Reports on State Laws to Reduce the Impact of Alcohol Marketing on Youth
The 2012 Report on State Laws focuses on a set of tools to address youth exposure that has been largely ignored: State laws that restrict youth exposure to alcohol in both measured and unmeasured media venues.
The 2012 report builds upon a 2003 Report on State Laws produced by the Center that explored state powers to regulate and restrict youth exposure to alcohol advertising in eight categories. The earlier report contributed to changes in state and local policies in numerous jurisdictions, including Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maine and Washington State.
